SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS INTERCEPT & MONITORING

Securinex offers the strategic Thuraya Monitoring System (TMS) that provides complete processing of the Thuraya satellite communication sessions within a group of spot beams on a single Thuraya satellite.

The system is designed to monitor the links of the Thuraya satellite communication, including the content and all call types: voice, SMS, fax and data.

The system contains Thuraya IP data (GmPRS) monitoring sub-system that provides automated interception, recording and displaying of IP Data sessions within a group of Thuraya satellite spot beams.

The main goal of the GmPRS sub-system is to provide clients the possibility to undertake interception of IP data traffic transmitted through the Thuraya communication network by using following equipment: SO-2510, SG-2520, Thuraya XT (Terminal type C, data rate up to 60 kbps) and IP, IP+, IP Voyager (Terminal type D1, data rate up to 444 kbps).

The data can be integrated with other IP data capture systems or communications data retention & disclosure systems.

Securinex provides the installation and the local support for the following:

  • Main Stationary System, which monitors the global C-band beam as well as the local L-band spot beams C/L-band sub-system.
  • RF-over-Fibre system (Optional), which provides transporting of the L-band signal from C-band antenna to indoor equipment with minimum signal loss.
  • Remote Spot Beam Sub-system (Optional), which is used to increase the system’s coverage area and enable duplex interception of calls in spot beams not under the coverage of the main site.  In general, the remote site with the L-band antenna can be connected to the main site. The remote spot beam sub-system is usually connected to the stationary main system through a WAN link or SAT link. The system is managed and controlled from the “Administrator” workstation.
  • A “Communication Link” linking the main stationary system with remote spot beam sub-system.
